Chocolate Cheesecake

Delicious graham cracker crust topped with mixture of cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, semisweet chocolate, eggs, and vanilla extract. Baked until filling is set and crust is firm and golden brown.

Ingredients -
1/3 cup Butter, melted
1-1/4 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
1/4 cup White Sugar
3 (8 ounces each) packages Cream Cheese, softened
1 (14 ounces) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, melted
4 Large Eggs
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

2. In a small bowl combine the butter, graham cracker crumbs and sugar.

3. Press the mixture onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

4. Beat the cream cheese until fluffy in a large mixing bowl.

5. Gradually beat in the condensed milk until smooth.

6. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

7. Pour into the prepared pan.

8. Bake for 65 minutes or until the cake center is set.

9. Cool to room temperature.

10. Chill thoroughly.

11. Garnish as desired.

Water to Keep Oven Moist

A shallow pan of water on the rack below can keep the oven moist when baking cheesecake. The water helps the top from cracking. Leave the water in the oven until it has cooled down if possible to avoid any splashing and potential injury.
